Position: Plumbing Technician

Roles/Responsibilities: The Plumbing Technician should be customer oriented, have a good driving record and be able to work on backflow preventers, water meters, water heaters, drain lines, water lines, and more. Experience using the latest technology, including closed circuit camera equipment for pipe inspections and tablets for electronic ticketing, preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial service

Position: Assistant Project Manager

Roles/Responsibilities: Assist project managers with daily activities in both new and renovation projects for government, industrial and commercial clients. Time management and Microsoft Office 365 experience required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.

Experience: 2 years minimum

Position: Assistant Project Manager

Roles/Responsibilities: We are looking for a seasoned Estimator who is skilled in both new and renovation projects for government, industrial and commercial clients. Competent with Excel and various estimating software platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must. (Viewpoint) Estimation Logistics experience preferred.

Experience: 10 years minimum

Position: HVAC Service and Project Sales Representative

Roles/Responsibilities: The HVAC Sales Representative’s role is to develop new business from our existing clients and bring new customers into the organization through an established network of decision makers (facility maintenance professionals, property managers, procurement managers, and building owners) and to build new relationships through cold calling, networking at industry events, and following up on leads and referrals.

Experience: Minimum 5 years Sales Experience

Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Roles/Responsibilities: Welch and Rushe is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to perform full-cycle AR functions. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to clients. This person should possess the knowledge and experience to ensure timely and accurate billings, collections, and application of cash receipts.

Experience: Experience in construction accounting is preferred.

Established in 1966, Welch and Rushe started as two plumbers working out of an attic office in Forest Heights, MD. We now have a staff of nearly 200 experienced and qualified individuals. From our modest beginnings, we have become the premier mechanical contractor in the Washington, DC area.
